Overview

Laser Cutting & Engraving.
Made to be seen.

A laser follows the exact path of your artwork, which makes it the right tool for fine lettering, intricate logos and pieces that have to fit together. Our Epilog laser cuts, engraves and marks a range of materials on a 24 × 36 inch bed. We use it for sign components, ADA and interior signs, awards, plaques and engraved gifts, and for one-off pieces we design with you from scratch.

What to send us

A photo of the space or vehicle, rough measurements and your logo are enough to start. No artwork yet? We can design it.

Applications

Built for the setting.

Cut dimensional letters in assorted materials and colors laid out on a table

Cut letters and sign parts

Laser-cut acrylic letters, logo shapes and inlays give interior signs clean, polished edges. Combined with UV printing and our CNC router, the laser lets us build layered signs with real depth, like the work at Unisen Senior Living and Windsor at Celebration, both produced with laser and router cutting in our shop.

Engraving, awards and plaques

Engraving cuts your design into the surface, so the mark won’t rub or peel off. We engrave plaques, trophies, crystal, glass and acrylic awards and gifts, with names and logos laid out in-house before anything touches the laser. It is a natural fit for recognition programs, milestones and corporate gifts.

Custom pieces

Have an idea that doesn’t fit a catalog? Bring a sketch or a file. We turn it into vector artwork, then cut or engrave the finished piece, whether that is a single display, a set of matching signs or a short run of branded items for your team, your clients or an event.

Questions about
laser cutting & engraving.

Straight answers to the questions we hear before most projects. Anything else, call (407) 935-1876.

What materials can be laser cut?

Wood, acrylic, paper and leather are classic laser-cutting materials. Glass, stone and coated metal can usually be engraved or marked but not cut through, and some plastics, such as PVC, should never go under a laser because of the fumes they release. Tell us your material and we’ll tell you how it handles on our machine.

What is the difference between laser cutting and laser engraving?

Cutting sends the laser all the way through the material to make a shape, such as a letter or a logo. Engraving removes only the surface to leave a design, text or texture behind. Many of our pieces use both: a cut acrylic panel with an engraved name, for example, or a plaque with a cut-out border.

How big can a laser-cut piece be?

Our Epilog laser has a 24 × 36 inch bed, so a single piece can be up to that size. Larger signs are built in sections or moved to our CNC router, which cuts aluminum, acrylic and wood panels. We pick the right machine for the size and material of each job, and you get one finished piece.

What file do you need for laser engraving?

Vector artwork, such as AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF, gives the laser a clean path to follow. For engraved photos, a high-resolution image works. Send what you have along with the size and quantity, and we’ll prepare the file for the laser if it needs any cleanup first.
